Hanimaadhoo Island Council is pleased to announce an upcoming official visit by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Maldives, H.E. Kong Xianhua, from August 5 to August 6.
Ambassador Kong Xianhua and his delegation are scheduled to arrive at Hanimaadhoo International Airport at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, August 5.

During this two-day visit, the Hanimaadhoo Island Council and the Chinese Embassy delegation will participate in key discussions and institutional engagements aimed at strengthening local community ties and exploring mutual cooperation:
Council Meeting: A formal meeting with the Hanimaadhoo Island Council to discuss community development initiatives and bilateral collaboration.
Education & Healthcare Visits: Site visits to Hanimaadhoo School and the Hanimaadhoo Health Centre to evaluate community needs and foster local partnerships.

The Island Council, under the leadership of the Vice President and council members, is coordinating all logistical arrangements, transportation, and protocol details to ensure a seamless and fruitful visit.
